Thinking of you

Dearest paul.I can't believe it's almost 2 half yrs since you were taken to heaven.Another young person has been taken too soon from cancer and she was the same age as you just 27.I've thought about you alot over the last few years especially everytime i sit don to watch snooker.I still miss watching you play and feel snooker is not quite the same without you.Love to your wife lindsey and your little girl evie rose she must be getting so big now and i bet she's daddy's little angel even though you can only watch her from above your star must be shining down on her and lindsey so bright.Miss you paul, love to lindsey and evie rose and all your friends and family xxx Annette.

a cruel world

I casually picked up 'unbreakable' in a book shop thinking it would be a good read, however I wasn't aware that what I was about to read would truly break anyone's heart. The book is filled with many funny moments and points of laughter, however the dark times are heart rending, hence when you put the book down they stay with you. If anyone deserves a place in heaven Paul Hunter does and if anyone deserves a happy future his wife and daughter dO. Out of all the films and books I have read, nothin compares to Lindsey Hunter's book. Reading it was unbearable, so I can't begin to imagine how his wife recollected all her happy, sad and heartbreaking momories of Paul.

rest in peace Paul Hunter- you deserve a great place in heaven after your bad hand in life.

Remembering the good old days!

Paul, just found your site. So weird as my dad, Alex Lambie is on here aswell.
You have no idea the impact your death had on the snooker scene. It was asif it was all a dream.
Remembering all the fun times we all had down at Prestatyn, Hemsby and Blackpool. Those were the days.
I used to think you and Alfie Burden were soooo cool, lol, then we all grew up and went our seperate ways but im so glad to have known you. Graeme Dott, my brother in law thought you were so talented, the next Rocket!!My Dad Alex thought the world of your dad and always said that he was proud to have known your family but no-doubt you are up there knocking in 147's with my dad by your side. The snooker world lost 2 good guys when my dad and you passed away.

Keep shining up there Paul and lots of love from The lambie family and the Dott family xxx
