Paul, taken from us too soon at the age of 27 after his battle with cancer.
Yorkshire boy Paul was taken into Huddersfield's Kirkwood Hospice on Friday and died on Monday
9th October. five days before his 28th birthday
Paul was a three time Masters snooker champion and was diagnosed with dozens of neuro endocrine
tumours on the lining of his stomach in March 2005.
Paul loving husband of Lindsey, adored father of Evie Rose, and a cherish son of Alan and Kristina,
also a dear brother of Leanne.
Touched
Just wanted to say that Paul Hunter without doubt was one of the most entertaining and colourful people I have seen on the snooker circut, snooker needs more players like Paul and when Paul passed away, so did a little bit of snooker as the game will never be the same. Paul you were a top bloke, and the best thing about you was people could identify with you, you were a bloke, who acted like a bloke would do, it was so obvious that being famous did not change you at all, no doubt you are already the snooker champion up there, cheers Paul a true champ in my eyes
Auntie Bridie
Thinking of you at this very sad time the years pass by so quickly, but you will always be in my heart and thoughts and I will be thinking of you as always on your birthday on wednesday . love as always Auntie Bridie xxxxxx
The masters a sad time to reflect on a gentleman at the top of his game, the snooker world has lost and missed a pure genius I believe you would have been the greatest snooker player Paul, from such a sad loss we hear of the great work the Paul hunter foundation brings to Yorkshire, typical of this legend, rip Paul from Russell in Bournemouth so sadly missed
CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S BEEN 3 YEARS SINCE YOU WERE TAKEN FROM US, EVERYTIME I WATCH SNOOKER I THINK OF YOU, I LOVED WATCHING YOU PLAY, I ONLY WATCHED SNOOKER BECAUSE OF YOU AND YOUR GOOD-LOOKS, I LOVED YOUR STRENGTH AND COURAGE BOTH ON AND OFF THE TABLE, THAT IS ONE THING I LOVED ABOUT YOU. BUT NOW I KNOW THAT YOUR SPIRIT WILL ALWAYS LIVE ON THROUGH EVIE, SHE LOOKS SO MUCH LIKE YOU, I LOVED YOU THEN AND I ALWAYS WILL.
GOD BLESS SWEETHEART, IN MY HEART FOREVER

The Grand Prix snooker is always a sad reminder of your death but at the same time a chance to remember you and your efforts, on and off the table.
I will always remember where I was when I heard the news and how shocked I was despite your illness.
Rest In Peace
Forever remembered
You are forever in our hearts Paul everytime we watch or see Snooker. We both wish we'd had the chance to meet you, our local sporting hero, may you give strength to your loving wife Lindsey and little girl Evie.
You fought so bravely, rest in peace!

Strange to think that this night three years ago was going to be your last... Every now and then you cross my thoughts, and to this day I can't believe you are really gone! What a loss! I hope you rest in piece, watching over your little girl...
YOU ALWAYS WILL REMAIN MY FAVORITE SNOOKER PLAYER FOREVER.
