Paul, taken from us too soon at the age of 27 after his battle with cancer.

Yorkshire boy Paul was taken into Huddersfield's Kirkwood Hospice on Friday and died on Monday 9th October. five days before his 28th birthday

Paul was a three time Masters snooker champion and was diagnosed with dozens of neuro endocrine tumours on the lining of his stomach in March 2005.

Paul loving husband of Lindsey, adored father of Evie Rose, and a cherish son of Alan and Kristina, also a dear brother of Leanne.

The loss of a star

I was sad to hear of the death of paul hunter this afternoon and was shocked. I thought he was beating and would pull through, so my hart goes out to pauls family and friends. i met him once in pontefact when he was at jamie michie house i was a postman and he was kind in giving me is autograph. So he will be sadly missed and 1 of the best players never to win the world title god bless rest in peace paul

a very sad day

my thoughts and condolonces are with his family and friends on this tradgic day. He bought that bit of glamour to the game and was a fantastic talent, he will be sorley missed.

Goodbye, Paul

Im devastated. Paul was a superb role model to the newer generation of snooker players. An immense talent, destined to be world champion. My thoughts, sympathy and heart completely goes out to his family and close friends. RIP Paul, keep on potting them 147's on the glorious table in the sky. We will miss you.

Taken too soon

I couldnt believe it when I saw the news this morning, such a great, good looking, talented bloke taken from us. I offer my upmost wishes to his young family at this difficult time, they should try to remember how lucky they are to have knowm such a good guy.
