So Sad

I am truely shocked and saddened with the news. I had thought that he was doing well in his fight but i guess not. Its just not right that he's died so early in life and he surely would have won a world championship if it was not for cancer.

paul hunter

may i send my heartfelt condolences to pauls family and friends he was so young and snooker is a sadder world without him

This is such a shock, Paul Hunter was such an ambitious character, of such a young age, and he had a young child, with it happening just before his 28th birthday, how unfair. Paul was always in the moment and gave it his best, and I just loved the times when he beat Ronnie O’Sullivan in the Masters final’s as it really annoyed Ronnie as he won’t constant power of all the tournaments. As Ronnie is a money oriented player unlike Paul who played for his passion and the enjoyment of the audience.

Paul Hunter proved clearly that he was a future world championship as he was clearly better than the likes of Gramae Dott, as he was even able to beat top 50 players and get century while under his condition. I just though he was almost through the cancer, and even when it can back at his age, with his level of fitness and health and didn’t ever imagine him dying as he was able to even play through it the majority of the time.

He will be sadly missed, and I am sure definitely by the ladies as he was the David Beckham of snooker!

My thoughts go out to his family to his family.

RIP, Paul Hunter.
