tumours on the lining of his stomach in March 2005.
Paul loving husband of Lindsey, adored father of Evie Rose, and a cherish son of Alan and Kristina,
also a dear brother of Leanne.
Goodnight Paul
I met Paul and his beautiful wife in a restaurant in Leeds. He was charming, approachable and his wife was a beautiful lady. Paul will be missed by eveyone and I will pray for his family especially his wife and daughter. Goodnight and god bless Paul.

So Brave
You never semed to let your head go down and showed amazing bravery and spirit by carrying on with proffesionalism and a smile on your face through all of what you must have been going through.
When you daughter hears about her daddy and how brave he was she will be a very proud little girl.
God Bless Mate
I was gutted to hear the news that Paul has died - i for one always thought he was survive. My thoughts go out to his family. Its such a loss to them and to snooker and sport in general. I can't imagine what his wife and parents are going through. RIP Paul.
A sad loss
I too was shocked to hear of Paul's passing away on Monday - it will be a loss not only to all that knew him but to the sport aswell, just as it was when Darren Clarke lost his wife Heather.
My father lost his battle against a brain tumour 20 years ago on the 31st of this month.
Rest in peace Paul.
A great player
What a shock to hear this news this morning. A huge loss to the snooker world. He will be missed. Deepest sympathies to his wife and young child. RIP Paul.
Another tragic loss
I would just like to send my deepest sympathys to pauls family,
He will be a great loss to the circuit, I hope his memory lives on and the snooker board get to gether for a memorial match with all the biggest stars, as he was one of the biggest,
Take care paul, We'll all see you soon.
I believed that, if anyone would win this battle, Paul would be it. He always seemed so optimistic, and as soon as he was feeling up to it, he returned to the table. It was a pleasure to watch him play snooker like he was really enjoying it, always fighting to the last ball. Like he did against this desease. It's such a pity he lost his last match.
I can't imagine what his family's going through right now. I just hope they can get through it, somehow.
Life is fucking unfair.
