Paul, taken from us too soon at the age of 27 after his battle with cancer.
Yorkshire boy Paul was taken into Huddersfield's Kirkwood Hospice on Friday and died on Monday
9th October. five days before his 28th birthday
Paul was a three time Masters snooker champion and was diagnosed with dozens of neuro endocrine
tumours on the lining of his stomach in March 2005.
Paul loving husband of Lindsey, adored father of Evie Rose, and a cherish son of Alan and Kristina,
also a dear brother of Leanne.

As a guy who has battled Cancer myself - I feel so sorry that this cruel decease has taken one so young. My thoughts and condolonces are with family and friends at this tradgic time.
Paul you once asked my daughter for a drink many years ago in Huddersfield - you gave her your name as Paul Hunter - her reply was "who" - not only her but everbody will have heard of Paul Hunter - RIP mate
To a family in pain
As a mother myself my heart goes out to Paul's family whose suffering at this time must be immense. Yes he was a wonder snooker player but he was also a son, a husband, a father and that's what matters.

I was devastated to hear about Paul's tragic death. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this very sad times.

The loss of a star
I was sad to hear of the death of paul hunter this afternoon and was shocked. I thought he was beating and would pull through, so my hart goes out to pauls family and friends. i met him once in pontefact when he was at jamie michie house i was a postman and he was kind in giving me is autograph. So he will be sadly missed and 1 of the best players never to win the world title god bless rest in peace paul

Goodbye, Paul
Im devastated. Paul was a superb role model to the newer generation of snooker players. An immense talent, destined to be world champion. My thoughts, sympathy and heart completely goes out to his family and close friends. RIP Paul, keep on potting them 147's on the glorious table in the sky. We will miss you.
